DAY 01: COCHIN
Arrive at Cochin and take a transfer to your hotel. In the afternoon take a private Sunset cruise on Cochin Harbour. Overnight stay at Cochin
Day 2: CALICUT
Morning sightseeing of Fort Cochin and after lunch drive 4hrs by
to Calicut. Visit the Boat Building centre and Weaving centre at Beypore. Overnight stay at Calicut.
Day 3: WYANAD
Drive 2hrs by to Wayanad District. Afternoon short walk and sightseeing. Overnight stay at Wayanad
Day 4: WYANAD
Full day trekking to visit the falls and Eddakkal Caves, which date back over 3000 years with wall carvings dating from the Neolithic Age. Overnight stay at Wayanad.
Day 5: WYANAD
Full day excursion by jeep to Tholpetty Sanctuary. You will find spotted deers, elephants, bison, leopard etc. or the greatest hunter of them all - the tiger, Jeep / Sumo Safari inside the wildlife sanctuary is allowed. This safari is a big hit with tourists for animals .Overnight stay at Wyanad.
Day 6:WYANAD - MUDUMALAI
After breakfast drive by to Mudumalai Sanctuary . Check into Jungle Retreat. In the afternoon take a 1hr elephant ride into the forest and watch the elephants having their evening meal. Overnight stay at Mudumalai.
Day 7: MUDUMALAI
Morning trekking with a guide and afternoon to relax ( option to see the elephants being bathed in the river). Overnight stay at Mudumalai
Day 8: OOTY
After breakfast drive 2hrs by to Ooty and check into the your hotel. In the afternoon visit the Botanical Gardens and Sim’s Park at Coonoor. Overnight stay at Ooty
Day 9: OOTY
Full day trekking around Ooty with a guide. Overnight in Ooty
Day 10: COONOOR - COIMBATORE - MUNNAR
In the morning take the Nilgiri Mountain Railway from Ooty to Coonoor and continue your drive via Coimbatore to Munnar. Arrive in the late afternoon. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 11: MUNNAR
Visit to the Eravikulam National Park, home to the endangered Nilgiri Thar and the nearby waterfalls and tea plantations. Overnight stay at Munnar.
Day 12: MUNNAR
Morning trekking with a guide and afternoon free. Overnight stay at Munnar
Day 13: PERIYAR
Morning drive to Periyar by and check into your hotel. In the afternoon visit the Tribal Village and Museum. Overnight stay at Periyar
Day 14: PERIYAR
Full day rafting and trekking trip in the park, in a small group, escorted by forest guides. Overnight stay at Periyar
Day 15: KUMARAKOM
After breakfast drive 3.5hrs by to Kumarakom. Check into your Backwater resort. Overnight stay at the resort.
Day 16: KUMARAKOM - COCHIN
Morning visit by boat to the Kumarakom Bird Sanctuary. After lunch drive 3.5hrs BY to Cochin for your onward journey.
